The MPH Music Department includes beginning band, advanced band, and choir, as well as a Jazz Club and Music Club.  All ensembles will have the chance to perform multiple times throughout the academic year.  These performances include: a Rim football game, the Blue Jay Parade, and multiple traditional-style performances. 

Students with no music experience who are interested in getting involved may join the beginning band or choir.  Beginning band introduces students to band fundamentals, including correct instrument technique and music reading skills.  Choir introduces students to the fundamentals of vocal technique, music reading skills, and musicianship.  

Advanced band and jazz band are audition-based ensembles for high-level musicians.  In order to join these ensembles, students must demonstrate mastery over their instrument, musical fluency, and dedication to the program.
