Perfect Attendance Incentive for November: Students with perfect attendance for November will receive a Golden Ticket for entrance to our Holiday Party in December, featuring a special appearance by Mrs. Claus and our favorite elf. Let's make every day count this month-don't miss out on this festive celebration. We're hoping for 100% participation! If your child is sick, please keep them home so they can rest, recover, and prevent the spread of illness to others. However, please remember to call the office as soon as possible to set up an Independent study plan. This will help your child stay caught up on their work and ensure they don't miss out on the holiday party fun!.   We'd also love to share some helpful attendance tips and work together to keep all our students healthy, engaged, and on track!

LAE students are gearing up to transform our neighborhood snow plows into vibrant works of art that celebrate community pride and creativity. 
They need your help! LAE is collecting paint can donations of all colors and types — if it’s paint, we’ll take it!  Every can helps our kids bring their vision to life and brighten the snowy streets we all share. Drop off your paint by Thursday, 11/6. Donation bins are located in front of the LAE front office. Let’s turn snow season into a canvas of joy. Give paint, give pride, give a smile! ¡Pintemos el arado — juntos! Los estudiantes de LAE están listos para transformar los arados de nieve de nuestro vecindario en obras de arte llenas de color, orgullo y creatividad. ¡Pero necesitan tu ayuda! Page 9:  Lake Arrowhead Elementary Leader in Me  Service  Project: Support Our Troops!  October 21st - November 22nd, 2025. At Lake Arrowhead Elementary, kindness is in action!  LAE’s staff and students are kicking off their Community Service Project—a Leader in Me initiative focused on being Proactive and giving back to those who serve our country. LAE is partnering with our local Blue Star Moms to collect donations for care packages that will be sent to 
members of our armed forces during the holidays. Support Our Troops Care Packages (Banner): earbuds, popcorn, protein bars, pretzels, Top Ramen, Individual packets of drink mixes, gum, Goldfish, beef jerky, cookies, crackers, toiletries, and candy. We’re asking families to contribute individually wrapped items—and to think creatively about what might brighten a soldier’s day! Donations can be sent with your student or dropped off at the school office. Please ensure that all items are labeled “For the Troops.” A few donation ideas include: Candy, Pretzels, Cookies, Top Ramen, Protein bars, Earbuds, Toiletries, and Notes of Gratitude. Let’s show our troops how much we appreciate their service.

Page 12: Parent Voices Matter! Join Our New Superintendent-Parent Advisory Committee. At Rim of the World Unified School District, we know that strong schools are built through collaboration, and Parents are at the heart of that partnership.. We are excited to announce the formation of a 
Superintendent-Parent Advisory Committee, designed to bring families and educators together to strengthen communication and ensure our parents' voices help shape our district’s future. This advisory committee will: Discuss critical needs across our schools. Share important information and updates. Gather feedback to guide programs and initiatives. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 12th, at 5:30 p.m. Meetings will be held once each quarter to provide regular opportunities for collaboration and communication between families and district leadership. If you’re interested, please contact your child’s school principal for more information. They will connect you with details about the Superintendent-Parent Advisory Committee meetings and next steps. “Your voice strengthens our schools.”

Page 16:  Community Activity: Community Program: Registration Opens 10/1 to 12/1/2025. RIMREC Youth Basketball. Program & League Ages 5-14 years. December 2025-March 2026. Teamwork, focus, and confidence. About the Program: This program and league are designed to teach and strengthen basketball skills in a fun, supportive, and recreational environment. Key areas of focus include sportsmanship, teamwork, building confidence, and improving focus-core values that help young athletes grow both on and off the court.  Our Instructors & Volunteers: To build a stronger program, participants ages 5-7 will join Little Hoopers, an introductory basketball program led by trained professional coaches through the RIMREC Youth Basketball League. For children aged 8-14, volunteer coaches are crucial in forming teams and creating a positive experience. We're currently seeking volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents. Your support makes a big difference-thank you. If you're interested in helping out, please don't hesitate to give us a call.  Practices start in December 2025, and Games start in January 2026.
